You're on Base Sepolia (chain 84532). Setup takes ~10 min and costs $0 — both ETH (gas) and USDC (entry fees) come from free faucets. Mainnet launch ~1 week out.

  1. 1.Connect your wallet — Coinbase Smart Wallet recommended (passkey-based, no extension or seed phrase). Existing MetaMask/Rabby users will get a prompt to add Base Sepolia the first time.
  2. 2a.Get free Sepolia ETH for gas (need ~0.001 ETH for ~50 plays): Coinbase CDP faucet — sign in, select Base Sepolia, paste address, claim 0.05 ETH. ↗
  3. 2b.Get free test USDC for entry fees: faucet.circle.com — pick "Base Sepolia," paste address, claim 100 USDC. ↗
  4. 3.Sign the login message — proves you own your wallet. No gas required.
  5. 4.Join or create a Hive — team up with other players for Swarm Wars.
  6. 5.Complete daily challenges — earn Nectar and build your streak.
  7. 6.Climb the leaderboard — no real prizes during the testnet preview, but the war + scoring loop is live for you to stress.

Season naming

GridHuman seasons on Base are called Yield N · Codename. The first season is Yield 1 · Baseline — it establishes the baseline metrics for everything that follows. Yield 2 (mainnet, $2 USDC entry) will be Surge.
